I grew up loving accompanying my mom when she goes shopping in the grocery because it’s when I get to basically hand pick anything I want from the supermarket and my mom almost always allows me to gat anything I want! Now, I’m 22 years old and I still LOVE accompanying my mom grocery shopping! When she found out there was a new superstore in town, she invited me to go with her.

To give you a quick background, Landers Superstore is a homegrown brand, so it’s definitely not a franchise. It carries imported goods from countries such as the U.S., Canada, and Australia and also a lot of local goods. And what I love about the store the most is that although there is an option for bulk buying, they also allow customers to individual products. This is perfect for yuppies or students who live alone because how the heck are we supposed to finish a crate of say, instant ramen? haha.

So, since my mom gets all the usual necessities to run a household, here are my fun/unique picks from Landers.

1. Muscovado Cubes

Muscovado sugar is an awesome alternative to white sugar. And when I think muscovado cubes are such a posh upgrade to the normal muscovado sugar! I’m sure I’m going to impress houseguests once I serve this to them with coffee!

2.  Chimichurri Steak Sauce

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a bottled chimichurri sauce! Best to pair with steak or even chicken!

3. Bertelli Vodka Sauce

  I’m such a fan of penne Alla Vodka! This is perfect for days when I’m lazy to cook myself dinner but I still wanna feel like eating something nice. :)

4. Udon Instant Noodles

My Go-to snack when I’m marathoning a TV Series! ;)

5. Tazo Chai Latte

I’m a big fan out Starbuck’s Chai Tea Latte so I was so excited when I found this! No more having to go to starbucks for me chai tea latte fix!

6. Bundaberg

I just love this fizzy beverage! I usually just drink water but when I’m in the mood for something sweet, I drink this instead of softdrinks. :)

7. Sweets From President’s Choice

I have a huge sweet tooth! When I found these in one of the aisles, I got so excited because I haven’t seen this brand in any other supermarket in Manila. I got all of them and ended up loving the white chocolate bark while my mom loved the milk chocolate caramel melts. ;)

8. Wine Ice Cream!!!

Because it’s always wine o’clock!

Find someone who looks at you like I look at my wine ice cream.

10. OMG’s Clusters Bouchees

I got so giddy when I found these! They’re chocolatey graham clusters with almonds and toffe bits. SO MUCH YUM!!!! I got the milk chocolate one. <3

AND AS A BONUS!!! I have to include these finds as well. I think it’s pretty obvious I have a penchant for sweets!

Of course, our shopping got us tired and hungry so we just HAD to check out Landers’ vast food choices! They have three food establishments: a cool coffee shop (Doppio), a comfortable diner (Landers Central), and a delectable bakery (Dough & Co.)

Here’s what we had from all three!

Overall, I had such an awesome time scouring each aisle of the store. My mom also had a ball of a time exploring the (literally) superstore. She even ended up buying a microwave oven. How random, right?! haha. You can just tell how uniquely curated the items inside the store are. They have a spacious showroom for furniture, a section dedicated to organic food, and even a unique beauty / wellness section!

The only downside for me os that it’s a tad bit far from where I live. But the heart wants what it wants (#hugot) and distance can’t stop me from heading akk the way to Balintawak to buy my goods!

Membership

Premium or personal membership fee is P800. You may avail of one (1) extension card for an additional P400. On the other hand, Business membership fee is P1,000 and you may avail of up to four (4) extension cards for an additional P400 each. All memberships are valid for 12 months and may be renewed with the same fee. Your membership card will be honored at all Landers Superstores. Currently, they are running a membership promo that gives you 20% discount on allmembership fees. With this, Premium or personal membership fee is now yours at P640only and P320 for the extension. While Business membership is at P800 only and P320for the extension.
