When it comes to my caring for my body, I’m the least experimental / picky with my hair. I just go for the basics: shampoo and conditioner. That’s why, I like it when brands give me the chance to test out hair care products because I normally wouldn’t check out hair care products myself! Just a few days ago, I was invited by the ladies of Himawari to try out their newest hair care line, Volume and Repair.

The line features Volume and Repair versions of the Himawari Dear Beauté Oil in Shampoo ,Himawari Dear Beauté Oil in Conditioner, and Himawari Dear Beauté Oil in Treatment. Attendees were also given a chance to try out Himawarie’s original line, Rich and Repair. 

Himawari In A Nutshell

Himawari is a Japanese hair care brand that contains sunflower oil and natural extracts that tame unmanageable hair. Their formula is Silicone and Sulfate free. Also, the formula is safe for colored hair, yay!

So What’s the Difference Between the Two?

The rich an repair line is for frizzy and dry hair, contains a frizz control formula, and has an elegant and sunny floral scent.

The Volume and Repair line is for limp and dry hair, contains volume and bounce formula, and has a grogeous and sophisticated dewy floral scent.

Since they were launching the new line, I decided to go with the Volume and Repair formula. My hair was washed with it’s shampoo and conditioner.

Next, the stylist used Fuwari hair mist to protect my hair from the heat of the styling tools.

Soon, she started blow drying my hair. At this point, I immediately felt and saw how soft and shiny my hair was.

After which, she started curling my hair like a pro. I wish I could curl my hair like her!

The final look and verdict:

I absolutely love how one wash immediately restored nourishment and shine to my damaged hair. I couldn’t stop myself from playing with my hair, it was so soft! More so, I kept on smelling my hair too! Also, it did provide volume, and body to my hair. I am compeltely smitten with this hair care line!
