I’m a hair color addict and I’ve been having my hair colored regularly for the past 4 years already. I am a beauty product junky but I have to admit, I’m PRETTY laid back when it comes to caring for my hair. Any shampoo and conditioner that smelled good and served its purpose could go into my shower arsenal. But things changed during the first time I ever had my hair bleached. The ultimate #tumblrhairgoalzz we all see come with a very tedious and expensive price of maintenance. This was the only reason why I’d put off bleaching my hair. Until recently, I had to bite the bullet AND the heavens must have heard my pleas because Hask Beauty reached out to me and sent me some of their products to try.

About Hask Beauty

Hask beauty is a company from Europe that offers a wide (and I mean reaaally wide) range of products to suit EVERYONE’s needs. They have a total of eight collections centered on various oils: Argan, Manoi Coconut, Charcoal with Citrus, Kalahari Melon, Bamboo, Keratin Protein, Macadamia, and Mint Almond. Each line has a champoo, conditioner, deep conditioners, oils, and treatments. They also have an essentials line. But what makes these products so special is that they are free from sulfates, parabens, drying alcohols, phthalates, gluten and artificial colors.

Argan Oil Repairing Shampoo and Conditioner – Ideal for dry, damaged or color-treated hair

I’m sure everyone’s heard about all the rave surround Argan Oil. I’ve heard such great things about it for hair and even for the skin so I was beyond excited to try this out. A whiff of its citrusy scent gently awakens my senses as I use it in the morning. The consistency is a tad bit runny for a shampoo but a little goes a long way for a rich lather. Using this combined with the conditioner has improved the state of my bleached hair; although these both alone is definitely not enough to cure my dying hair. My hair felt sot, smooth, and lightweight! Tip: Don’t apply conditioner too close to your scalp and concentrate on the ends of your hair. Also, with my bleached hair, I shampoo at the most, 3 times in a week. On other days, I just use conditioner.

Hair Treatments

Argan Oil Repairing Deep Conditioner – super strengthening, hydrating treatment that will restore and smooth dry, damaged, chemically treated or over processed hair. Argan oil, unique to Morocco, is known for its high absorbing, penetrating and split end qualities while leaving even the most damaged hair soft and nourished for added moisture.

Charcoal with Citrus Oil Purifying Deep Conditioner – super-moisturizing, clarifying treatment that will nourish and soften all hair types, (including color treated hair). Charcoal, derived from coconut shells, combined with citrus oil, absorbs impurities and helps restore hair to its natural radiance.

Keratin Protein Smoothing Deep Conditioner – ultra restorative, moisturizing hair conditioner that leaves all hair types smooth, shiny and frizz free. This special ingredient blend repairs damage, reduces breakage and helps reduce static and drying time.

Bamboo Oil – super strengthening, moisturizing treatment that will reinforce fragile hair. Silicone rich bamboo is known to provide a strong foundation for hair and fortifies to help improve flexibility, leaving hair resilient and less prone to split ends and breakage.

*Among these, my favorites would be the Keratin Protein Smoothing Deep Conditioner and Argan Oil Repairing Deep Conditioner. Each pouch contains at least 4-5 times of usage for my extra long hair. I just simply apply the product onto my wet hair and leave it on for thirty minutes while I do my errands. After which, I rinse off the product and my hair feel extra soft and silky afterwards!

Shine Oils

Macadamia – Macadamia oil helps to replenish moisture and seal the hair cuticle for added softness to transform dry, damaged hair into soft, silky locks.

Manoi Coconut – Monoi oil, native to Tahiti, is known for its re-hydrating and softening qualities and for leaving your hair nourished, moisturized and revived.

Keratin Protein – Infused with hydrolyzed keratin to smooth and reduce frizz, this oil penetrates hair to leave frizzy, dry hair soft, smooth and incredibly shiny.

Argan – Argan oil is rich in essential fatty acids and penetrates hair to restore shine and provide soft, silky results in dry, damaged hair.

*I love all of these luscious oils equally! They come in a seemingly tiny bottle but the LITTLEST, TINY drop can do wonder to my hair. I’ve been using these for a while now and I still can’t see to make a significant reduction from the bottle. These can be applied onto dry or damp hair but I prefer applying it on dry hair! Oh, and the best part is, it leaves no oily residue! Just make sure to use a TIIIIINY amount, though! :)
